makan with her

it's frustrating, really.
she always expect that what she eats with us are super delicious.
hello, it's not always the case ok.

yes, there are consistencies in cooking. but not every dish tastes the same every. single. time. it's cooked.
and she understands naught about this concept.

and then if the food is not as delicious as she expected, she'll complain all the while we're enjoying the food, and she'll continuously berate our choice of food.
hello? are we here to satisfy you?
even if we're not initially, it seems that now we have to even if we don't want to.

let it go! you're making my parents feel uncomfortable, you're making us sisters boil, and you ruin the makan mood. complain by all means, berate by all means. but once is enough. do you have to do it all. the. time.?

like i said, there's no 100% consistency with food. if it's less tasty this time, doesn't mean it tastes like this all the time. but you don't give the food a second chance. one encounter and you give it the death sentence.

and the irony is, most of the times when we bring her somewhere which we expressed praises and satisfaction for the food, somehow, it's not as tasty as previous times.
any wonder why she can't really enjoy delicious food?
negative energy attracts negative stuff?

whatever.
she's coming today and oh-so-coincidentally we're going for satay coz Couz wanted to and we've been meaning to go since a month ago anyway. and tomorrow, we're making Wan Tan Mee.
imagine how us sisters cringe.
anyway, she's not gonna ruin my satay and Wan Tan Mee mood.
i'm gonna stay positive. attract positive energy, aye?
