everyone has their own values. everyone has their own opinions of what should be and what should not. everyone has their own worries and upsetting stuff in life. everyone makes their own decisions. everyone has their own dream. and everyone has their own means of achieving their dream. individuality, that's what i call. but people tend to group people into categories and forget that each person is their own person.
we all have our own opinions and values. what works for you doesn't mean it'll work for me, and vice versa. whether i agree with you or not, that's my business, not yours. we don't have to agree all the time, do we? if we agree all the time, then we're not individuals anymore, we're robots.
certain things are best left as it is. i don't feel sorry about it, i don't have to feel sorry about it and so do you. so why pretend? just because you think i should be this this and that, therefore i should behave as you dictate? oh cut the crap. you and i both know better. no one can control you unless you give them that power.
say whatever you want, do whatever you want. be you. that's what people always say. but is it really that simple and easy? nothing ever is. if you think it is, you're so wrong. yes, it's easy for you to say, but have you ever thought that it never is the case when the person who has to do it is not yourself?
don't judge people based on that little piece of information you manage to glimpse at. oh wait...it's how people judge people. how people select who their friend is and who their foe is; who deserves their attention and who doesn't; who deserves their resentment and who doesn't.
is this wrong then? no. coz it's how people function. how you survive in this world. what you choose to do, what you choose to say, what you choose to be, that's you. no one has the right to condemn you without knowing and understanding the true motivations that drove you to make those kind of decisions.
yes, they can argue with you that what you're doing is wrong, that they don't agree with how you do things. if people do that, then you're in luck. coz they're seeing what you can't and they willingly tell it to your face. they act as your mirror.
but...again, that doesn't mean you have to follow everything they say without thinking it through thoroughly first. digest whatever people tell you, and come up with your own conclusion. however biased or neutral that conclusion is, it's yours. and that conclusion, is your bias.
i'm talking in circles. ignore me.
