as much as we hate sitting in the class, as much as we find it boring to the max, as much as we think it unnecessary, it's what makes our lives bearable. and in some cases, it makes other people's lives easier but yours worse.
no, i'm not talking about the psychologist/counselor-client ethics, it's ethics in general.
u might not notice it, but ethics are really pervasive in our lives.
some people speak of it so easily but doesn't really understand the true meaning of this six-letter word.
it goes way beyond.
i used to think it's really simple. i just have to stick to my own values or what i'm told to follow.
i was so wrong.
it's not as black and white as law [though law has its fair share of loopholes and creative interpretations, the lines are still clearer]
you yourself has to decide what to weigh more when considering the facts and the right thing to do.
but what you think is right is wrong in other people's eyes coz they have different opinion and ethical considerations.
as much as ethics help us make the right decisions, and helps maintain justice, ethics is still biased.
coz it's your opinion and your own judgement we're talking about here.
