talking to the parents

talking to parents take a lot of our time. but it's time well spent.

we understand the children better. we understand the family dynamics better. and we could help them better and accept certain things better.

his dad is a scary one to talk to but the mom is okay. for the first time yesterday, i wasn't afraid of talking to the dad. progress!!

continuous feedback from parents are so rewarding. i like!!

still don't know how to approach his dad and his mom. but his aunt is understanding and easy to talk to. hopefully i'll get over this awkward feeling soon.

i still find it intimidating to talk to the parents. don't feel like i'm credible enough. don't feel like i'm convincing enough. don't feel like i present the best of the message. and i still have a lot to learn to mask my frustration or disappointment.

but these two days, i realize the fear has reduced considerably and i have more courage now. really, sometimes i just have to take that leap and things will work out on their own.

hopefully this will continue and become something natural in days to come =)
