工作

工作、事业不分高低贵贱，平凡特殊，有趣乏味，伟大不伟大。
只有喜欢不喜欢， 肯不肯做，适合不适合。

很多人会不认同，可是，学业跟事业无关。

对，中学或大学资历对前途有莫大的关系。可是，凭着自己的努力、毅力，一样可以和大学毕业生有同样的成就。

of course, what you study for your degree can influence your career decision a lot. after all, you spent so much money and time and effort into that qualification it's definitely awesome if you could apply what you've learned into use.
but still, that does not mean it has to dictate what kind of jobs you do. you can still change path and do what you think you have to do.

university education to me was an exploration and experiencing stage. it was more about finding who i am and what i like or dislike and what is out there than learning psychology. though it wasn't impressive and i still regret that i didn't make the most out of it, i'm quite glad that all the inner struggles and passive-aggressive fighting and skeptic looks endured throughout is well worth it.

i have friends who are doing totally different things from their degree major. people closest to me changed their paths a couple of times at least, and not favourable choices at that. most of them are not making much, and i'm not sure if all of them are happy with their choices. but they know they deserve to make that change. they know they have the courage to do so. they know that what they're doing has value and meaning.

and i admire them for that.

and now that i've said so much, i'd better remember this and not be judgemental when someone tells me they're doing this or that when they have a university background.
