love 'em.

didn't like them immediately when Hybrid Theory was released though. too noisy.
until Meteora.

and then i started head-banging to all their songs. talk about me disliking noisy music. haha.
it was perfect catharsis for a passive-rebellious teenager like me.
a constant and influential force during my teenage years.
felt like they were talking to me.

though i've moved on from wallowing in negative emotions through music, coz they rarely help me focus, i do love it when their songs come up. there's a certain joy listening to them even though it's not always positive.

heard LP's The Catalyst from their latest album, A Thousand Suns, yesterday evening. and then i went home and searched for their full album.
i love it.
especially love Waiting for the End. just beautiful.

yea...it sounds different from the LP that we knew. but it's still very much LP. though they sound different, it's unmistakably LP. for their spirit and soul are there in their music.

gonna get the album.
when the special edition is out though. haha.
the last time i bought Minutes to Midnight, it wasn't even released yet, coz i wanted the poster. it was real cool by the way.
and then a few months later, they released a special edition with LP t-shirt. @$#^&!

so...i'll wait. as i'm now patiently waiting for Nickelback's special edition of Dark Horse album.
