Memory

Memory plays tricks on your understanding of facts, on your knowledge of things that happened, and on the memory stored inside your head.

What do you remember that is true?
What do you not remember that fits the missing puzzle?
What do you remember that has been distorted?
What do you not remember that has been filtered by your perception and feelings?
What do you remember because you just want it to be true?

Memory is a funny thing.
It shapes who you are and how you think.
But it plays games of hide-and-seek, lie-detector and chasing clouds with you.
Blurring the sounds, images and senses of what you once felt and indulged in.
Luring you into chasing and catching reality (as you understand it), with futility.

But your memory is the only thing you can rely on to make sense of this world. No matter if you feel it's untrustworthy.

Because it's still very much intact and...you.

*P.S. An ode to 세상어디에도없는 착한남자 The Innocent Man ㅋㅋㅋ ;)
