Teacher's Day

my first teacher's day.

a few parents gave us presents. so touched. some of them were really nice presents. they really didn't have to, coz it's the thought that counts. but it was a nice feeling to feel appreciated =)

and today went to the teacher's day celebration organized by our psg committee. it's been a long long time since i went to a movie. not since inception re-screening. yeah...that long ago.

so...we watched KungFu Panda 2. quite a nice movie actually. well, it's for kids and family. so yeah. the kids were all okay. most of them seemed to have enjoyed it.

received the flower and cup from Nich's hands. so cute when he thought it was for him. i love it whenever he calls me by the full noun. especially his sense of accomplishment and that glint in his eyes. so happy for him.

S cried because of something. it started with food, but then it became something else. felt bad actually for not going over and consoling him.

Ally came and sat with us. kept saying token before the movie started. and i told her it's not a school day, so no more token =.= lol

Anakee sat behind us. so cute, kept introducing his bro to us and talking about his excitement. and then his bro sang a math song medley, which piqued the interest of the little girl beside me. so cute.

and then this lil girl stared at me and touched my hand a few times towards the end of the movie to get my attention. not sure what she wanted coz she didn't indicate anything else, just stared. and whenever i smiled at her, she turned back to the screen. hmm.

so there goes my first teacher's day. not big on events. but they are really nice opportunities for the children to experience different things and learn.
