"I" statements

did this for one of my assignments. what it means to make "I" statements.

until that assignment, i didn't consciously think about the ramifications of saying "I". nor what it means for me to make that statement.

now, sometimes i become conscious of making these statements. for various reasons. but mainly because of taking responsibility.

all the more so when i'm talking to my elders, coz it makes a big difference to them and also to me. they may not notice the difference, but i did. on most times, it does make my life easier. but on certain times, it made it worse.

sigh...in the end, i'll still have to be very careful of what comes out of my mouth and my body language.
