Supper

whenever our gluttony for food strikes late at night, we'd go out for supper. and it's usually either mamak or fried radish cake.

as much as i like the mamak joint behind our neighbourhood and that uncle's fried radish cake under the big tree, i always wish we'd have more choices to choose from.

most times, i'd like to just sit in a traditional kopitiam and have a cup of tea/nestum/horlick with steamed/toast bread. but we have no traditional nice kopitiam operating near us late at night.

not that i don't like mamak's teh tarik, in fact i think that Raja makes the best teh tarik in Kepong. and their roti and thosai, when they're in their best moods, tastes really nice. and that uncle's mihun goreng tom yam and maggi goreng, is super nice.

i just have this craving for chinese-brewed tea/coffee and bread at unusual times.
