the daughter

i don't know how to help her. i'm not even sure if i'm in the place to reach out my hand. there's too much at stake. there's too much strings attached. there's too many people involved.

and i'm not close enough, not influential enough to extend my hand.
and if i do, i'm too inexperienced to handle all the strings.
and i've never had first hand experience in this aspect, whereas most of them have, albeit very limited ones.
plus, this is one area i'm not familiar with. and i'm not confident enough with the knowledge i have to say anything.

but of course i have some opinion about what should and should not be done. after all, i'm not as ignorant as i seem to be.
but people sometimes have the weirdest ideas. and i'm perplexed just thinking about it. note, not angry, not sad, just perplexed.
maybe it's because i don't have positive opinions about the parents, though i try not to. after all, it's all in the past. but still, no matter how much you try to separate certain things in life, it'll still affect how you think. and no matter how much you try not to get your own perspectives and feelings involved, it'll still have an effect.

with this new development, it's gonna get messy, i think. and no one can keep secrets forever. though i suspect she already knows the truth. and if she already does, i hope help will reach her soon. i hope she will be willing to receive help.

i hope she will allow help to reach her. i hope she will stop being delusional and open her eyes. though i doubt she'll ever be able to really see.

no one can escape from facing reality forever. it is really ironic how the cycle of life works.
