i'm having a long CNY this year. not just the holidays, but also the atmosphere and the mood that i'm in.
even after squeezing in some time for college stuff, i.e. assignments and mid-term studies, i still have time to just relax and enjoy this festival.
actually, this year's CNY is much more quiet and uneventful than last year, as in there were fewer gatherings, and not having a couple of significant people around.
but, it's much more fun with Grace and family, Jy, Uncle Zhe and his cute, cheeky and mischievous lil son (who is so like him) around this year.
am learning a lot from this year's CNY, personally and professionally. am growing a lot too. and i realized, that i have taken a new perspective and attitude on some things, especially about our family's CNY tradition. i guess stepping out from the "me" perspective (and turning on the robot button) helped a lot.
it's gratifying, this CNY. i'm happy.
