a lot of things have been going on. on the home front, i've been buying books, reorganizing my study space, setting the masters application in motion, practicing for ielts, trying to set a exercise routine (but failing miserably).
meanwhile at work, there's the salary appraisal twists and turns, the relocation drama (i'm so not going to sg buloh even if i don't have to pay toll, the driving is too stressful), the discussion on the curriculum development, changing my lunch meals and keeping track on which makes me drowsy - which also means that i have to cook my own but i'm fine with that as long as i can work better.
and i'm trying out different activities for leisure. sewing, painting, and reading the books that's now sitting on my new IKEA shelf ^^ i might pick up calligraphy again, after that trip with mt to 上海书局. and i might paint occasionally, since i found joy and a certain calmness to the activity since the Echo of Colours workshop and the batik workshop.
it's been up most of the times at home. worth mentioning in particular, kin was so good during his talent show performance. and mt was even more hilarious being their catwalk director. lol. i'm happy at home =)
work has been up and down, as usual. but the downs really are downers. but i've also learned (the hard way) that i should trust my colleagues more. though i've been open with them all this while, i couldn't say that i trust them as much. confusing huh? yeah, i'm puzzled myself. and that almost ended up disastrous, even if it's the only truth that i omitted to tell. my own trust issues, really. i should trust more that they really are understanding and rational people who look at the facts and make their judgments.
but still, i have to watch how i say things so as not to offend. i have been quite obtuse recently, saying things with wrong words, creating confusion in people and myself too. crazy i know. but oh well, hopefully with a small change in diet i can be more alert and quick-witted.
and erm....i think that's pretty much it. ok bye.
