random moments/thoughts

kin was blasting the stereo on full, when suddenly my mom complained: "why music so loud?! the song nice meh?! sounds like 'nam mo lou' chanting!!!"
the song was Super Junior's Superman.

we all died laughing. coz it really does sound a bit like it.

SuJu fans will all raise their forks. LOL

was an ambassador for our country and kl for a day. explaining our culture, marketing our country's (kl) charms. it was a tough job. i could talk all day long about food, but what about other stuff??

oh...there are beaches, just not in kl.
there are pretty and nice nature hangouts, not in kl either. frim...well, just not reachable by public transport save taxi.
there are shopping places, but not as nice as hk or singapore.
culture and history? melaka and penang fits the bill more.

kl.... we have twin towers, which is not much. batu caves, nice but not sure whether everyone likes the place or not, though i quite like. a lot of malls (ugly malls, mind you). kl tower? museum? nah...our museum couldn't compare. sunway lagoon? people have disneyland where they come from. chinatown? it's now foreign workers' town. ok, central market is a nice place. and temples and mosques i guess, coz it might be an attraction to them. not to us coz we are used to them in our visual field.

just shows i don't really know my country (city), don't i?

durian season. yummy!! just when we thought the durians from uncle's orchard dah habis, the durians came a-knocking. so many durians for the past 2 weeks, that we can't even finish them. even after making cream puffs - twice - with them, we still have leftovers in the fridge. the fridge now smells durian.

seriously, uncle's durians are the best. sigh...next time no more how we're gonna find such fine durians? in our memories, i guess.

donghae and eunhyuk came up with Oppa Oppa. it's so fun! but SME is just lazy imo. how difficult is it to make a low budget but fun mv? show us some sincerity please. thank god for shindong, who put together an mv i think is fitting for the song. just wacky!

my friend asked me which country i wanna go next. actually, i've never given it much thought. but i guess i'd like to visit london next year if possible. going to korea needs longer planning, i think. coz i don't wanna join no tour. i wanna visit the places i watch on 1n2d. but one problem is i don't speak no fluent korean. so i'll most likely get duped and lost if i go on without a guide.

CNY is round the corner. need to start baking cookies, and fry arrowheads. but dang i only have another work-free week left. but i still have half a report to go and 6 ieps left. grrrrrr

the birthday party was chaotic. almost every adult over there was trying to coerce and threaten the kid to take the stage. but they don't realize they've all been played in between the kid's fingers. so much for controlling and manipulating the kid. bleh.

lost my reasoning and temper on petty matters. to an elder no less.
i was wrong. i know that.
there's more going on, i know. i need to resolve them, lest i'll be repeating the same behaviors a lot of times.

among friends, i do think i'm not as worldly as them. granted, they started work early. granted, they work in a very different environment. but i do feel as if i've not developed much in the social aspect.

a quiet holidays save for the hk trip. most friends not in town. only a handful of gatherings. sometimes, i do feel lonely.
