there'd been rumours. there'd been hints. and then there'd been brief but unconfirmed mentions.
well, now it's really happening. the absorption is gonna take place soon. though nothing has been confirmed yet, it's up in the air. they're negotiating.
yes, it's good for the program. the sustainability, the financing. but we foresee that it will compromise the curriculum, the growth that had been set earlier on. considering how our objectives and principles clash.
not that the current circumstances are ideal either. but at least, we're going in the right direction, in terms of our students' welfare.
they don't understand the program. the essence of it. numbers and words alone don't give you the whole picture. yet people who has only a slight idea are starting to push their principles and perceptions at us. pushing for us to change the core of the program.
yes, i know we should work harder in making people understand. but sometimes human preconceptions are pretty hard to influence. and i say preconception is the easier one to handle. the sad thing is they don't want to listen. if they don't listen, how the heck am i going to get to their preconceptions and tackle them?
yes, i know we should make changes where applicable. i do hope we can change for the better. but up till now, what they've been proposing and pushing for totally clashes with the objective. really not constructive. no see point in doing so.
i don't like it right now. but i'll have to accept it. i just hope there won't be too major a change that it will compromise the class. or affect us.
