Travel companion

I need someone who will communicate. Even if we have different ideas. Even if we end up arguing. Even if we get lost.
Even if I am wrong and the other is right. Even if I am right and the other is wrong.

At least we communicate.

Silence without explanation. Accommodating with censure.
Withdrawing with silence.

I need someone who is not afraid of disagreeing.
I need someone who shares their own experiences and perspectives.
I need someone who also listens.

I am glad I've found a few. I think I'm lucky. That they're so close.

But I think some people are not. And will not be.
