bonsai

got a bonsai for my birthday XD

the cutest and weirdest gift i've ever received. hahaha.

my mom and sis say it's weird and funny how i, someone who doesn't garden, got a plant for a present. and a bonsai at that.

anyways, since i once lamented to them how i envy my mom who has green hands, maybe this is a beginning for my own small garden? haha.

so over the weekend i did some research on how to keep it alive. and it's pretty low maintenance i think. needs fertilizers but don't think i wanna do that soon. wait till i have more time and when i want it to flower then i'll start i guess. yep, it flowers. oh..it's called water jasmine.

but i've been seeing centipedes and some unidentified insect in the soil. hopefully it's not harmful to the bonsai. else i'll need to get insecticide. still, i'm not bringing the bonsai indoors. don't want no insects crawling in my room.

so it's now sitting in my balcony. and of course i water it everyday. have to keep it alive until i could consult my grandaunt one day for bonsai care tips ^^

though this cute cat says it's alright if the bonsai dies, i'll try my best to keep it alive =D
