Observing vs Staring

it's really hard to observe people without staring at them.

even though u try to be as inconspicuous as u can, the person whom u r observing will tend to stare back at u, sending u the message with their body language: "What u lookin' at? So rude."

all my life i have done my share of observing n being observed. n i tell u, it's really hard not to evoke negative feelings when u're the one observing n hard not to feel offended when others r observing u.

i prefer to call their staring as observing as i couldn't really tell which is which. also...to defend my observing as not staring. *shrugs*

observing without staring is really an art. one i'm doing my best to master, regardless whether i'm a psych student or not. coz i really like people-watching. damn interesting.

oh...n observing people without judgment, contempt, prejudice n all other negative opinions u feel from their eyes. n not giving a damn about what other people think of u when u catch them observing u... now there's your challenge.

i dislike those judgmental aunties who condemns those who they don't understand through their eyes. IMMENSELY. show some respect, people.
