Gladiator

rewatched the movie this morn. or should i say yesterday morn? ^^

no...i don't have a easy semester ahead. it's for assignment. hehe...watch movie for assignment...not bad eh? n a good movie at that.

Gladiator is definitely one of the best movie i've watched. watching it for the second time is even better than when i first watched it a few years ago.

probably because i've grown. matured. acquired different perspectives on life. yeah.

but something remains the same. i still tear up at the end of the movie. not that i'm ashamed of it =)

it's not that the scenes are really sad or very touching. nor is it because of the good story and brilliant script.

there's something about the whole thing that resonates with my heart. n that something pulled me in to the movie n feel it. n i did feel. when i came out of that movie...a sense of happiness, calmness n some other feelings i can't put words to bubbled in me.

it's been a long time since i let myself dive into a movie that deeply. i didn't really have the time anyway. it's really nice to indulge in that kind of feeling again through a good movie.

not every movie u watch gives u that kind of indulgence.

no wonder Gladiator won best screenplay at the Oscars.
