news abt Maria

so many interesting things to blog about since i last blogged. yet again...didn't manage to.

this time...i am really busy to blog.

what am i doing here right now then??

monkeys...some news from our Dear Maria.

she called this noon to ask me to ask A Levels Dept about the deadline to decline her certificate. coz she wanna retake some of her chem n bio papers.

well, she can't. coz she cashed in her grades already. also...the deadline is past.

actually, according to her, she can still go for her choice of course with her results. she just want a better result. what she expected.

oh yea...she wanna do food science. probably in Sedaya. coz she said it's the only college offering food science. she's goin to their open day this weekend. the course starts end of April. i'll call her later to confirm the news.

food science is actually not Maria's 1st choice. her 1st choice is actually psychology. but her parents object. normal parents' reaction.

but the different thing is...they say anyone can do psychology. say malaysia no market [typical].

i won't say they are completely wrong. coz yea...everyone can do psych.

HOWEVER.

Psychology is not as easy as you think it is. On top of that, there IS "market" for psychologists in Malaysia. They (not we...i'm not one yet) are very much needed all over the world.

AND...u think becoming a psychologist is that easy? there's as much hard work and effort to put in as any other popular courses.

all the time and effort doing research, understanding every single journal before you start your paper, organizing your paper, carefully paraphrasing so you won't get accused of plagiarizing, reading and re-reading to produce a good quality paper.

All that and submiting your paper on time.

easy? you should do one of my assignments.

sorry...didn't mean to become so worked up over it. but the thoughts just flowed...as usual. that's y my post always didn't end up the way i wanted it to be. no planning...

hope my assignments does stick to whatever they are supposed to be. or i won't be able to forgive myself.
