rich wife with nth to do - Justified

ok. i may have said sth really extreme about my rich wife classmate. i admit i was swayed by the unfairness i felt at that time.

however...i still think she needs to put in more effort in her studies. COZ...to be able to STUDY is a PRIVILEGE.

after a lengthy talk with her yesterday afternoon [when i mean lengthy...it really is loooooooonnnnngggggggg], i find her different.

yea...she still is the rich wife. a very rich one...in fact. but she is not those typical trophy wives. she has a different perspective on things i find refreshing.

it is still the truth she's taking a degree to pass time though. she said so herself. many times.

unfair??

yea...no doubt.

but......this is STILL better than other rich wives who spend over thousands to buy some branded handbags n shoes just to show how rich n sophisticated they are.

at least she's using the money to learn sth new n interesting. oh...and also her time is spent meaningfully.

i didn't say all these good things about her just because she gave me a 5 min ride to my car (which is in another section of my college. a pain in the @$$...if u ask me. totally hate the parking system. who would like to park their car 1km away frm where your class is n having to travel all the way there by bus?? AND there's VERY LIMITED parking spaces...no thank you) in her driver-driven-mercedes. n also saying that i am a smart girl.

i'm not easy. people can't buy me with sweet words. though i'm quite gullible.

Why did i change my mind about her?

well...1st of all...she didn't go all over HELP telling people that she's bloody rich. yea...she wears nice clothes. n really PRETTY SHOES. but no sparkling-until-your-eyes-hurt jewellery.

and no...her forehead doesn't have the words "I Am Rich".

if she didn't tell me about her life n who her husband is...i won't have any inkling who she is. or rather...how she live her rich life.

it's not that she hadn't worked hard all her life. she did, in fact. it's just that she married a really rich and capable husband that she has excess money n time to study.

this is fate. sth we have no control of.

n...i kind of sympathise with her. i mean...she has to be a hypocrite at times when it comes to other materialistic rich wives. she has to. even though she doesn't like it, she has no choice but to be one.

even rich wives has their dilemma, huh?

after listening to her talking about her life, i realised that i don't wanna be her. at least not how she lives. coz i find her perspective on life really interesting. oh yea...did i mention that she's modest? yea..tht's another quality in her i value.

she can be a good friend. but i can't stand talking to her everyday. she really is long-winded.

oh well...what do u expect from a rich, not working wife anyway?

n here...i sincerely apologise to my lovely classmate for saying some bad things about you. I'm Sorry.

oh yea...i still think you have to study hard for your degree. after all, you are a student now. though you don't really need the certificate. still...work hard for it. as you said, it's a kind of enjoyment.

having her as partner in assignments is not that bad after all. she did think deep about the assignment. and her opinions are quite constructive.

oh well...i can't condemn people just because of ONE thing they did in the PAST right?? (or can i?)

about her using people's ideas as her own...erm...what i can say is...she modifies them. many people does that anyway...(which i now realise that i sometimes do so too...hypocrite huh?) when they run out of ideas

haha...this reminds me.....taiwan's entertainment world does this every now n then. i really salute them for how they 'modify' ideas, which most of them are 95% similar to the original work. really...is your mind so stunted that u have to copy that much?? people...put more effort lah...

n u call yourself someone who works in a creative industry. shame on you.
